7.3. Calibration Information
Instrument calibration can be obtained through Lake Shore Support. Refer to the Technical Inquiries section for contact information.
The Model 346 contains calibration constants, programmed into the instrument during assembly and test, that are stored in non-volatile memory (NOVRAM) in various printed circuit boards (PCBs) within the instrument. These memories are checked on power up, and if the calibration state is determined to be invalid on any of the PCBs, the instrument will display a warning message on the front panel.
In these cases, the instrument cannot be guaranteed to be within published specifications. The user is allowed to continue operation of the Model 346, despite it being out of calibration.
